Tree Felling & Splitting

Kingfisher Forestry started over twenty years ago, specialising in large tree felling and tree surgery, we covered many aspects of forestry from planting, full tree chipping, large tree felling, forwarding to professional tree surgery and the buying and selling of hardwood timber on a large scale.

As you now see from other aspects of the website we have moved more to Moorland work, however, we still have an interest in forestry, albeit much smaller.

Our focus in forestry is amenity work now, rather than commercial, using our knowledge and vast experience to fell trees clean and safely with a traditional estate finish.

Felled or fallen timber can be cut and split for firewood, we currently use tractor mounted winches and 20 ton splitters, we don’t chip now as we prefer to leave habitat piles for conservation purposes.
